BA cabin crew union announces its members will strike
    Africa Leader
    Saturday 13th March, 2010

The Unite union, the union representing British Airways cabin crew, has said its members will go on strike from the 20th of March for three days and from the 27th for four days.

The move comes as talks between British Airways management and the unions broke down.

The union confirmed that it would not strike over Easter, but warned that further industrial action might be taken if a resolution had not been agreed on by the 14th of April.

The airline’s cabin crew have been striking over changes to pay and staffing levels made by management last November.
