    New CEO to take over at Singapore Airlines

    Singapore Airlines has named its new CEO as Goh Choon Phong.

    Goh will replace Chew Choon Seng when he retires at the end of December this year and will formally take up the position on 1st January 2011.

    The board of directors will welcome him onto the board on 1st October 2010.

    Goh is currently executive vice president for marketing and the regions and chairman of SilkAir.
